We have over 40 years’ experience in the recruitment sector. We like to think we have a warm, approachable style that also conveys the depth and breadth of all that experience. We really look at the overarching goals for your business so that when we meet the right candidate, we know – and sometimes that comes in the form of someone who doesn’t necessarily fit the job spec exactly, yet has the right personality and other attributes that make them right for your business. And that’s where we feel we make the difference.

Sue Turney – Director
I have worked within the Recruitment industry for over 40 years, starting my career with the best training in the industry at Blue Arrow.
In 2010 I decided to put my own stamp on recruiting, starting Aspire Personnel Ltd.
Core business being built on All sectors within an office from Junior roles through to Senior Stakeholder roles. I enjoy working with clients looking to ‘partner’ with an agency who will understand their business and find the best culture fit and talent for them.
The recruitment market has changed so much over the years, and we have had to diversify. More recently partnering with Julie to bring an offering to clients, we didn’t have before.
Down time – To clear my head when I’m not recruiting. My sanity is spending time and riding my retired police horse Embassy. Horses are very levelling when you need things putting into perspective!
Julie Stewart – Director
Julie has over 25 years of recruitment industry experience and has specialised over the past 8 years within IT, Digital and Engineering. She has recently joined forces with Sue Turney at Aspire Personnel to help Aspire grow and specialise in sectors they haven’t been able to provide a full service for previously. We are both excited and looking forward to a positive and exciting year!
Down time – Water is so cathartic and when I can (the English weather permitting!) I’m out on the beautiful rivers, lakes, and canals of the UK on my paddleboard. Any stresses of recruitment just melt away.
Maria Wellings – Temp Consultant and Office Administrator
I have been with Aspire for 3 years and thoroughly enjoy working with Sue and Julie, I’m responsible for temps, keeping diaries up to date and making sure we are all compliant
Prior to this I have 6 years experience in reception and administration This was my first eye opener into the world of Recruitment, but on a good day I love the variety.
Down time – When I am not working, I love to spend my downtime with my family and friends. I have an amazing home life with my husband, children and granddaughters and I mustn’t forget Bear, my gorgeous dog! I love singing and I am also in a band that is just starting out.
